What gets inspected

The trailer schedule, measured and logged.

Trailers fail on different things than tractors. We focus on what puts a trailer out of service at the roadside.

Brakes & air systemLinings, drums, chambers, slack adjusters, gladhands, relay and emergency valves, air loss.
ABSLamp check, sensor and modulator faults pulled with a scan tool.
Kingpin & upper couplerKingpin wear, upper plate flatness, cracks, welds and mounting.
Suspension & slidersAir bags, springs, hangers, torque arms, bushings, slider pins and locking mechanism.
Tires, wheels & hubsTread depth, sidewalls, rim cracks, fasteners, hub oil and seals.
Frame, deck & crossmembersMain rails, crossmembers, floor and deck condition, past repairs.
Lights, reflective tape & wiringEvery required lamp, conspicuity tape, 7-way plug, harness condition.
Landing gear, doors & guardsLanding legs and crank, rear doors and latches, rear impact guard, mud flaps.

Dry vans

Tandem and tridem, 48 to 53 ft. Includes doors, floor and roof bows.

Reefers

Trailer chassis and running gear. The reefer unit itself is serviced separately.

Flatbeds & step-decks

Deck, tie-down points, winch tracks and headboard.

Chassis & pups

Container chassis, pup trailers and converter dollies.

Can I drop the trailer and leave?+

Yes. Drop it in the yard, leave the keys or paperwork at the desk, and we'll call with the results. Pick it up when it's stickered.

What if the trailer fails?+

You get the defect list and a written quote. Brakes, lights, air lines and suspension are usually fixed in the same visit.

Can you do the tractor at the same time?+

Yes. Book the tractor annual with it and we'll do them back to back. Each unit gets its own sticker.
